Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Senior Manager, Electrical Engineering in Salt Lake City to lead a multi-disciplinary design team responsible for RF, power, digital, and antenna hardware within complex communications systems. The role reports to the Director of Hardware and Specialty Engineering and requires strong leadership across engineering disciplines.

You will mentor engineers, balance schedule, cost, and staffing, partner with program management and systems engineering, and support business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 12+ years of experience.
• Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience; in lieu of a degree, 16+ years.
• Experience leading cross-disciplinary design teams for RF, power, digital, and antenna hardware.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (Active Clearance preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead RF, power, digital, and antenna hardware development for complex communications systems.
• Mentor engineers, allocate resources, and build a high-performing team.
• Partner with program management and systems engineering to balance performance, cost, schedule.
• Support business development with technical inputs and estimates.
• Manage hiring, performance reviews, and employee engagement.
• Ensure commitments for performance, cost, and schedule.
• Security clearance readiness and eligibility.
