Job summary

NES Fircroft seeks an experienced Emergency Response Specialist / Chief to lead a structured emergency response program across assets in Alaska. You will act as On-Scene Commander, organize on-call responders, and coordinate with operations to ensure rapid, compliant incident handling.

Responsibilities include training, equipment readiness, regulatory liaison, and incident investigations. A background in fire/EMS, strong communication, and Alaska rotation readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in emergency response operations.
• Experience coordinating with regulatory agencies and on-call responders.
• Completion of NIMS ICS courses (ICS-100/200).
• Proficiency with MS Office suite for reporting and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Serve as On-Scene Commander and lead on-call emergency responders.
• Coordinate with operations to recruit, train and organize on-call response teams.
• Develop training programs with peer Chiefs to deliver external training cost-effectively.
• Manage emergency response equipment fleets and readiness across sites.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and internal policies.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Build relationships across work groups to enhance collaboration.
• Travel to Alpine, Kuparuk & Willow fields with rotation as required.
