Job summary

ASRC Energy Services, LLC is seeking an Emergency Response Specialist/Chief to lead a on-scene emergency response team and provide compliant, cost-efficient response services for spills, hazardous materials, medical assists, and fire/rescue incidents in Alaska. The role requires extensive experience in Incident Command, EMS operations, fire and rescue, and instructor credentials.

Travel to North Slope camps and coordination with state/federal agencies are expected, with comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience leading and motivating emergency response volunteers.
• Certified Firefighter II (IFSAC/Pro Board).
• Certified Fire Service Instructor I (IFSAC/Pro Board).
• AK EMT III / AKEMT or ability to obtain within 24 months.
• Completed NIMS ICS (ICS 100-200) courses.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Serve as On-Scene Commander and lead on-call responders.
• Recruit, train and organize an on-call emergency response force.
• Develop training programs with peers to deliver external training.
• Manage a fleet of emergency response equipment and centers.
• Coordinate with Alaska Clean Seas and policy manuals for compliance.
• Maintain and implement a proactive fire prevention program.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Build relationships across work groups to enhance interdependency.
