Job summary

Avangrid is seeking a Program Manager for Emergency Preparedness Planning in Orange, CT, or East Hartford, CT. The role leads the development and maintenance of Emergency Plans, coordinating with executives and across Avangrid companies to ensure plans are current, training-ready, and compliant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 7 years experience or Associate's degree + 10 yrs experience
• 7 years relevant experience required
• Experience facilitating cross functional teams through a planning process
• Strong experience with project management

Responsibilities

• Planning Expert: execute a deliberate planning process to update or develop plans
• Training on Plans and Continuous Improvement: ensure plans are trained and updated after exercises
• Plan Management: track plans and maintenance schedules for compliance
• Facilitation of Workshops and Meetings: lead cross functional workshops
• Project Management: multitask in a fast-paced environment with stakeholders
• Budget and Contract Management: manage budgets, contracts, expenses
• Communications Skills: develop clear materials and presentations
• Collaboration: work with program staff and teams across companies
