Job summary

Clinical Management Consultants is assisting a leading Northern California health system in recruiting a Senior Physician Assistant for Emergency Services. This role serves two premier hospitals, with about 50 percent travel between locations, and potential broad responsibilities including inpatient rounding, perioperative duties, and coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Physician Assistant experience within the past five years, with extensive Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients, take histories and perform physicals, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
• Perform procedures, coordinate continuity of care, and document progress.
• Assist in surgery, perform suturing and wound care, and provide bedside/ perioperative support as needed.
