Job summary

The City of Fort Worth's Office of Emergency Management seeks a seasoned Community Engagement and Preparedness Lead to guide readiness programs, public alerts, and community partnerships.

Reporting to the EMC, you will supervise staff, coordinate with neighborhoods, schools, hospitals, and partners, and support the JEOC during activations. Strong communication and disaster preparedness leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in emergency management, public administration, communications, or related field.
• Three years of progressively responsible emergency management experience for a large government.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Amateur radio license, or ability to obtain.

• Program Leadership - Leads Community Engagement and Preparedness program; sets annual goals and success measures.
