Boston IVF in Waltham, MA is seeking a Senior Embryologist to join the IVF laboratory team. The role focuses on expert embryology procedures, QA/QC, and maintaining high clinical standards in a U.S. lab setting.

The successful candidate will perform oocyte, embryo handling, biopsy, vitrification, and cryostorage tasks, while advancing toward independent execution of core procedures in a fast‑paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required in Biology or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on IVF laboratory experience in the U.S.
• Demonstrated competency in core embryology procedures.
• Strong understanding of embryo morphology and developmental assessment.
• Ability to interpret laboratory findings within clinical context.
• High attention to detail and commitment to laboratory excellence.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Weekend and holiday rotation required.

Responsibilities

• Perform IVF laboratory procedures following established SOPs and quality standards.
• Maintain QA/QC protocols and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and laboratory safety standards.
• Participate in proficiency testing and competency assessments.
• Identify and troubleshoot laboratory issues impacting clinical outcomes.
• Contribute to laboratory optimization and research initiatives.
• Attend laboratory meetings and continuing education programs.
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation and data entry.
