Job summary

Boston IVF | IVIRMA North America in Waltham, MA is seeking a Mid-Level Embryologist to join our US-based IVF laboratory. The role advances core embryology procedures and ensures QA/QC in a clinical setting.

You will perform oocyte grading, sperm prep, insemination/ICSI, embryo culture and biopsy, vitrification, and cryostorage, with ongoing professional development and weekend/holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree (Biology or related field) required.
• 2+ years of hands-on human IVF laboratory experience in the U.S.
• Demonstrated competency in core embryology procedures
• Strong understanding of embryo morphology and developmental assessment
• Ability to interpret laboratory findings within clinical context
• High attention to detail and commitment to laboratory excellence
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Weekend and holiday rotation required

Responsibilities

• Perform IVF laboratory procedures following established SOPs and quality standards
• Maintain strict adherence to QA/QC protocols and documentation requirements
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and laboratory safety standards
• Participate in proficiency testing and competency assessments
• Identify and troubleshoot laboratory issues that may impact clinical outcomes
• Contribute to ongoing laboratory optimization and research initiatives
• Attend laboratory meetings and continuing education programs
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation and data entry
