Job summary

Boston IVF | IVIRMA North America in Waltham, MA seeks a Senior Embryologist to join our IVF laboratory team. The role emphasizes hands-on embryology in a US clinical standards environment and independent performance of core procedures.

The candidate will perform oocyte identification, sperm preparation, insemination/ICSI, embryo culture and biopsy, vitrification and warming, with attention to QA/QC and regulatory compliance. Opportunities for growth in a high-performing IVF program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Biology or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on US IVF laboratory experience.
• Competency in core embryology procedures.
• Strong embryo morphology and developmental assessment.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Weekend and holiday rotation required.

Responsibilities

• Perform IVF laboratory procedures following established SOPs and quality standards.
• Maintain strict adherence to QA/QC protocols and documentation requirements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and laboratory safety standards.
• Participate in proficiency testing and competency assessments.
• Identify and troubleshoot laboratory issues that may impact clinical outcomes.
• Contribute to ongoing laboratory optimization and research initiatives.
• Attend laboratory meetings and continuing education programs.
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation and data entry.
