Job summary

The Offer Club is recruiting a Senior Sales Engineer, Embedded Optics and Vision Solutions in San Diego, CA. You will own technical sales cycles from prospecting to volume production for embedded vision systems in drones, robotics, autonomous vehicles, defense, and surveillance.

You will lead multi-stakeholder deals, gather precise technical requirements, and tailor imaging solutions while working with engineering and procurement teams. This is a high-visibility, field-based role with travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Optical/Physics/Engineering or Robotics.
• 5+ years in complex sales cycles, technical sales, applications engineering, or field application engineering for engineered hardware or physical products.
• Proven experience selling into OEM engineering and procurement teams through extended, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication with the ability to explain technical trade-offs to engineers, program managers, and buyers.
• Consultative sales mindset: you seek to understand and solve prospect and customer technical problems, not just pitch.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and win new OEM accounts in high-growth markets such as drones, defense, robotics and surveillance.
• Field inbound inquiries and manage a portfolio of accounts.
• Gather technical customer requirements (e.g., resolution, field of view, environmental durability) and recommend lens and imaging system solutions.
• Lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles with engineering, program, and procurement teams from early discovery through design-in and global production.
• Prepare quotes, manage proposals, track CRM workflows in HubSpot, and ensure accounts transition smoothly into production.
• Visit customers on site and represent the company at trade shows such as Photonics West, Xponential, and Automate.
