Job summary

The Offer Club is recruiting on behalf of a precision optics company in San Diego, California, for a Sales Engineer, Optics and Vision Systems. The role covers the full technical sales cycle from outreach to design-in and production.

You will partner with engineering teams to define requirements, scope custom solutions, and manage multi-stakeholder accounts, including on-site customer visits and trade shows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Optical/Engineering field.
• Ability to explain technical trade-offs to engineers, managers and buyers.
• Self-driven with strong organizational skills and pipeline management.
• Willingness to prospect new accounts and travel 15–25%.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify new OEM accounts in high-growth markets.
• Field inbound inquiries and manage a portfolio of existing accounts.
• Gather technical requirements and recommend lens and camera solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering to scope custom lens solutions when needed.
• Support multi-stakeholder sales cycles from discovery to production.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and manage orders in CRM.
• Represent the company at trade shows and visits to customers.
