Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field with 2+ years of embedded firmware experience or
• Master's degree with 1+ year of embedded firmware experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for embedded firmware functionality and performance.
• Create and maintain test plans, procedures, and documentation.
• Develop test automation scripts using Python, Java, or C# to improve efficiency.
• Execute tests across HiL, MiL, and SiL environments.
• Perform regression, integration, system, and QA testing throughout firmware lifecycle.
• Verify compliance with UL, IEC, CE, CSA, EMI/EMC and safety requirements.
• Contribute to CI/CD test automation and faster feedback to teams.
• Log defects with clear reproduction steps and support root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, systems, and manufacturing engineers.
