Job summary

Two Six Technologies seeks an Embedded Software Test Engineer in Linthicum, MD. You will work on hardware-in-the-loop bench automation, test harness orchestration, and CI/CD workflows using Python, Docker, and AI test instrumentation.

The role emphasizes embedded software verification, reproducible test setups, and on-site collaboration to secure and validate software and firmware against vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing or using automated test harnesses, HIL setups, or test bench environments.
• Strong programming in Python, C/C++, or Rust for bench automation and test scripting.
• Proven ability to establish CI pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and containerized execution (Docker).
• Hands‑on experience with UART, SPI, I2C, JTAG and embedded bus monitoring.
• Willingness to provide on-site support in Linthicum, MD daily.

Responsibilities

• Leverage test harnesses to accelerate software and firmware security verification.
• Automate target device execution, bench control, and continual test suites for rapid, reproducible results.
• Validate software behavior and patch deployment under guided supervision.
