Job summary

Two Six Technologies seeks a Senior Software Test Engineer to drive comprehensive manual and automated testing across software and hardware interfaces, APIs, and AI-assisted tooling. You will collaborate with engineering and field teams to validate complex data flows and ensure mission readiness within a multi-network ecosystem.

You will help evolve testing practices, implement automated frameworks, and verify code integrity for AI-assisted development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems testing experience with software-hardware interfaces.
• 3+ years of system-level integration testing focusing on backend API endpoints.
• Solid understanding of networking, distributed systems, and cross-network data flows.
• Experience with UNIX / LINUX operating systems.
• Experience with SQL or other relational/non-relational databases.
• Familiarity with or interest in AI-assisted coding tools for verifying code integrity.
• Experience testing complex, data-heavy systems or interoperable data streams.
• Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-stack system testing via API endpoints, hardware interfaces, and diagnostic tooling.
• Develop functional, end-to-end, regression, and performance tests for software-hardware integration.
• Evaluate how hardware endpoints and distributed architectures function together as a unified ecosystem.
• Design and maintain testing environments mirroring operational deployments.
• Assist in rolling out automated testing frameworks to scale manual integration efforts.
• Design testing strategies to verify AI-assisted code development quality.
• Document and track system-level defect reports and feature requests.
• Align test lifecycles with program milestones and pilots.
