Job summary

Technology Service Corporation’s Product Solutions team seeks a Software System Test Engineer to join our engineering group across Bedminster, NJ and other U.S. sites. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in software/system testing for embedded systems, with Linux, IP networking, and strong test automation skills using Python and Bash.

U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance are required.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
5–7 years of professional software/system testing experience.
Experience with Linux-based embedded systems and network testing.
Strong ability to develop and execute system test cases for embedded software.
U.S. Citizenship is required; ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated and manual test frameworks for embedded software.
Collaborate with software and hardware engineering teams to define test requirements and strategies.
Perform integration, regression, and performance testing across multiple platforms and environments.
Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive resolution with development teams.
Mentor junior test engineers and provide technical guidance throughout the testing lifecycle.
Document test plans, procedures, and results for internal and customer deliverables.
Support software release management by validating deliverables and ensuring quality standards.
Utilize scripting tools (Python, Bash) for test automation and data analysis.
