Job summary

Two Six Technologies in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Senior Embedded Security Software Engineer to join our Trusted Electronics & Effects team. You will work on embedded software development, firmware reverse engineering, and low-level system testing, using Ghidra, Python, and QEMU to rehost complex firmware binaries.

The role requires C/C++ development, Python scripting, experience with reverse engineering tools, and active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• Proficient in low-level software development in C/C++ and Python scripting for automation in Linux environments.
• Experience performing light architectural reverse engineering or control-flow analysis on firmware images with tools like Ghidra/IDA/Binary Ninja.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical tasks focused on reverse engineering and forward development of embedded systems.
• Conduct binary and filesystem analysis to map undocumented target architectures for emulation.
• Operate under supervision, following company policies and precedents.
• Translate reverse engineering insights into functional software for firmware rehosting in custom emulation environments.
