Job summary

Anduril Industries in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Senior Electrical Sustaining Engineer to lead embedded electronics upgrades, hardware selection, and PCB changes for mission-critical defense systems.

Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to drive timely updates, troubleshoot across domains, and ensure sustained production in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience designing, testing, troubleshooting and sustaining complex embedded systems and products.
• Experience with 8- and 32-bit MCUs, Linux-based SOCs, Ethernet, SPI/I2C, and power regulation.
• Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current-probes, and test automation.
• Proficient with Altium Designer or equivalent tools.
• Able to obtain and maintain active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage product sustainment in a production environment with engineering improvements and cost-down efforts.
• Design updates of embedded electronics including hardware selection, schematics, PCB updates, and board bring-up.
• Collaborate across electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to perform product updates.
• Troubleshoot issues spanning electrical and software boundaries using lab equipment and software debugging tools.
• Support sourcing with long lead and end-of-life components to sustain production.
• Contribute to rapid production introductions and active deployments for defense/aerospace products.
