Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of experience in designing, testing, troubleshooting and sustaining complex embedded systems.
• Experience with 8- and 32-bit MCUs, Linux-based SOCs, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, and power regulation.
• Proficient with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current-probes, and test automation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Help manage product sustainment in a production environment with engineering improvements and sourcing support.
• Perform and own design updates of embedded electronics, including hardware selection, schematic & PCB updates, board bring-up, validation, and system integration.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to implement updates driven by new features or obsolescence.
• Troubleshoot issues spanning electrical and software domains using lab equipment and software debugging tools.
• Support sourcing teams with long lead and end-of-life component management to ensure continuous production.
• Contribute to fast-paced new product introductions, active deployments, and customer-operated hardware.
• Balance multiple sustaining projects across stages to ensure timely results.
