Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Electrical Sustainment Engineer in Irvine, CA to own ruggedized electronics design and scale legacy concepts for full-rate production. You will partner with Architecture and Product Management to drive system requirements and deliver embedded compute and power solutions.

The role requires designing mission-critical electronics, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining reliability while considering manufacturability and testability in the design.

Qualifications

• Design digital & analog electronics from concept to production.
• Troubleshoot hardware and implement improvements.
• Document design requirements, specifications, test coverage, and test reports.
• Complete full cycle PCB design including schematic, layout, bring-up and integration.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers.
• Support fast-paced development, deployments, and customer-operated hardware.
• Concurrently manage involvement in multiple projects at various stages.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical integration activities for projects.
• Provide hands-on support of prototype and production hardware.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers to optimize high-power components and distribution.
• Trade-off components against size, weight, power and EMC requirements.
• Work with design teams to meet reliability goals in system context.
