Job summary
Wind River is seeking a Senior Product Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support across Wind River technologies in customer environments, including embedded systems, OS, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
You will troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, guide customers and account teams, and collaborate with engineering to drive timely resolutions, mentoring junior staff and sharing knowledge across global teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related engineering field.
- 8–12 years in embedded systems, RTOS, Linux, cloud platforms, or related tech.
- 3–5 years of customer-facing technical support experience.
- Experience troubleshooting complex software and system-level issues.
- Experience collaborating with enterprise customers and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Support customers using Wind River products and technologies, manage incidents and escalations.
- Investigate, reproduce, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Develop and communicate technical solutions, workarounds, and remediation recommendations.
- Coordinate with Product Engineering, Customer Experience, Professional Services, and Support teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across global teams.
