Job summary

Infleqtion in Boulder, CO is seeking an experienced Embedded Systems/HDL Engineer to help commercialize quantum technologies. You will develop RTL with SpinalHDL and Verilog/SystemVerilog, integrate embedded Linux, and collaborate with physicists and cross-disciplinary engineers.

The role emphasizes robust software engineering practices, code reviews, CI, and testing in lab environments, with opportunities to lead small teams and contribute to RF waveform processing and signal accelerators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field.
• 8+ years of prior work experience is expected.
• Experience leading small technical teams or projects.
• Strong software engineering practices: testing, revision control (git), readability, documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicists and across engineering domains to deliver embedded system solutions.
• Develop testable, performant RTL using SpinalHDL.
• Support hands-on tuning and troubleshooting in lab environments.
• Architect processing chains with analytical models to meet design requirements.
• Embrace modern software practices: CI pipelines, static analysis, automated builds.
• Participate in design, code, and data reviews.
