The role focuses on RTL development with Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL, leveraging SpinalHDL and Xilinx Zynq MPSoC devices in Linux environments. You will collaborate across disciplines, lead small teams, and contribute to design reviews,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field with 8 years of experience.
• Experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog or VHDL.
• Proficient in Linux, Python, and Bash.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Git and good software engineering discipline.
• Willingness to continuously learn across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicists and across electrical, software, and opto-mechanical engineering domains to deliver optimal embedded system solutions for quantum applications.
• Develop testable, performant, and scalable RTL using SpinalHDL.
• Support hands on tuning and troubleshooting in laboratory and test bench environments.
• Architect processing chains with supporting analytical models to ensure that design requirements are met.
• Embrace modern software engineering practices to ensure robustness and maintainability, including CI, revision control, and automated builds.
• Participate in design, code, and data reviews.
