Infleqtion is hiring for a senior embedded systems engineer focused on delivering high-performance RTL for quantum applications. You will collaborate with physicists across electrical, software, and opto-mechanical teams to architect scalable processing chains and RTL using SpinalHDL in a Linux environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field required.
• Minimum 8 years prior work experience.
• Experience with HDL languages (Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL).
• Proficient in Linux and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Strong written and verbal communication; collaboration in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Familiarity with git and modern software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicists and across engineering domains to deliver embedded system solutions for quantum applications.
• Develop testable RTL using SpinalHDL.
• Support hands-on tuning and troubleshooting in lab environments.
• Architect processing chains with analytical models to meet design requirements.
• Adopt robust software engineering practices including CI, static analysis, and automated builds.
• Participate in design, code, and data reviews.
