The role emphasizes Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL, SpinalHDL, Linux environments, and modern software practices, with a focus on scalable, robust embedded solutions and strong communication within cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field is required.
• 8+ years of prior work experience in embedded/RTL design.
• Experience with HDL (Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL) and Linux development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work across multiple disciplines.
• Solid software engineering discipline: testing, version control (Git), code health, documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicists and across electrical, software, and opto-mechanical engineering domains to deliver optimal embedded system solutions for quantum applications.
• Develop testable, performant, and scalable RTL using SpinalHDL.
• Support hands on tuning and troubleshooting in laboratory and test bench environments
• Architect processing chains with supporting analytical models to ensure that critical design requirements are met.
• Embrace best modern software engineering practices to ensure robustness and maintainability and facilitate collaboration.
• Participate in design, code, and data reviews.
