Job summary
KLA Milpitas invites a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer to design, implement, and debug Linux firmware for embedded sensing and communications systems, such as cameras and sensors.
You will advance product areas by developing features across power electronics, signal processing, and communication platforms. Responsibilities include system-architecture design, hardware interfaces, and software-hardware connectivity, with end-to-end ownership from concept to deployment in a high-volume manufacturing
Qualifications
- Doctorate with related work experience of 3 years; or Master's with 6 years; or Bachelor's with 8 years.
- Experience in multi-disciplinary products integrating software and electronics (ability to read and understand schematics).
- Proficiency in Linux internals, networking and Embedded Linux build systems.
Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and debugging Linux firmware for embedded sensing and communications systems (cameras, sensors, etc.).
- Learning product areas by developing features in power electronics, signal processing and communication.
- Design and development of system architecture for hardware interfaces, sensing components, and software-hardware connectivity.
- End-to-End Ownership of a project from concept to field deployment.
