Crestron Electronics Inc. is seeking a Lead Systems Architect to define and govern the architecture for embedded, cloud-connected, and IoT product platforms. You will translate business needs into scalable, secure technical solutions, aligning software, firmware, hardware, QA, and DevOps across the lifecycle from concept to launch.

The role requires strong systems-architecture expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and decisive technical leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 7-9 years of experience in software/firmware/systems engineering with hands-on product development.
• 5-7 years in system architecture, solution design, or technical leadership roles.
• 5-7 years delivering embedded, IoT, cloud-connected, or distributed software assets from concept to delivery.
• 4-6 years translating product requirements into system architectures and roadmaps.
• 3-5 years leading cross-functional architecture reviews and risk mitigation.
• 1-3 years experience with Agile/Scrum development.

Responsabilidades

• Define and govern system architecture for embedded, cloud-connected, and IoT product platforms.
• Translate requirements into scalable, secure, high-performance solutions across software, firmware, hardware, QA, and DevOps.
• Collaborate with Product and Program Management to drive design from concept to product launch.
• Evaluate alternative approaches, lead proof-of-concept efforts, assess and mitigate risks.
• Interpret specifications with developers and break them into actionable tasks and estimates.
• Promote architectural consistency by partnering with peer Systems Architects and defining reusable standards.
