Job summary

Ethereum Technologies is seeking a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer in California to lead vehicle computing platform architecture, develop firmware and drivers, and integrate sensors such as LiDAR, Radar, and Cameras. You will collaborate across hardware and software teams to ensure robust, high-performance, and safe embedded solutions.

The role requires deep expertise in Embedded C/C++, Python, Linux, RTOS (FreeRTOS/QNX), and automotive networking standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in embedded C/C++ and Python.
• Strong experience with Linux and RTOS environments (FreeRTOS/QNX).
• Experienced in device drivers, firmware, and bootloaders.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead embedded system architecture for vehicle computing and networking platforms.
• Develop embedded firmware and device drivers using C/C++ and Python.
• Work with Linux kernel, FreeRTOS, QNX, and other RTOS platforms.
• Develop and debug CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet interfaces.
• Work with networking protocols such as TCP, UDP, HTTP, and gRPC.
• Integrate sensors including LiDAR, Radar, and Cameras.
• Support PCB bring-up, hardware debugging, and system integration.
• Perform HIL testing and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and electrical engineering teams.
• Ensure system reliability, safety, and performance.
