Job summary

CrossFire Group is seeking a Senior Systems & Controls Engineer in Oshkosh, WI for an onsite role. You will develop and peer review embedded controls software, analyze system architectures, perform calculations, and lead software testing in real environments.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in engineering with 3+ years of experience (or a Master's with 1+ year). Travel ~25% and familiarity with C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, SysML tools are preferred. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and peer review embedded controls software based on system requirements.
• Develop, analyze, and maintain system architecture models and requirements.
• Perform engineering calculations, investigations, hardware selection, and software development.
• Conduct software and integration testing in simulated and real-world environments.
• Analyze test data, investigate failures, and recommend solutions.
• Maintain software source code, configuration records, and engineering artifacts.
• Support supplier and customer testing, including offsite activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Follow established engineering, software safety, and CMMI Level 3 processes.
• Coordinate assigned project activities and communicate technical information across teams.
