Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech, an Oshkosh company, seeks a senior controls engineer to lead JetDock controls development across multiple loader platforms. You will develop, modify, and validate embedded software, collaborating with hardware and mechanical teams to ensure robust system integration.

You will define requirements for controllers, sensors, and interfaces, and guide junior engineers while coordinating with suppliers and international teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Accredited bachelor’s degree in electrical, software, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience developing, modifying, and troubleshooting embedded controller software.
• Experience with CAN bus, vehicle controls architecture, and system-level troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution and on-time completion of JetDock controls development across loader platforms.
• Develop and validate embedded controller software using Danfoss PLUS+1 or CODESYS.
• Define system requirements and select controllers, sensors, displays, and interfaces.
