CrossFire Group is seeking a Principal Software Engineer – Embedded Systems to design, develop, and integrate real-time embedded software for vehicle applications in Oshkosh, WI. The role is onsite with occasional travel and requires strong C/C++ skills and MATLAB/Simulink experience.

You will lead software implementation for prototype, pilot, and production vehicles, collaborating with internal teams and suppliers while ensuring performance, memory, and maintainability goals.

Formación

• Accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least five years of related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and document real-time embedded software using C/C++ and MATLAB-generated code.
• Lead software implementation and integration for prototype, pilot, and production vehicles.
• Develop vehicle-level software designs and provide feedback on system requirements.
• Develop software that meets functionality, memory, performance, and maintainability requirements.
• Support verification, validation, configuration management, and CI/CD activities.
• Research technologies such as RTOS, AUTOSAR, IoT, edge computing, and virtualization.
• Create and interpret UML software designs.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve technical issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
