Smart Start, Inc. is looking for an Embedded Systems Architect to lead technical initiatives within the Engineering team. You will own the embedded systems architecture across devices and gateways while managing hardware and software integration.

This role requires extensive experience in embedded systems and strong programming skills in C/C++. The position offers hybrid work flexibility and competitive annual compensation ranging from $150,000 to $180,000.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in embedded systems or embedded software development.
• 2+ years experience in leading embedded software architecture.
• Experience with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, USB, and Bluetooth.

Responsibilities

• Guide end-to-end embedded systems architecture across device and gateways.
• Design system flows and document complete workflows.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for system-level issues.
