Beacon EmbeddedWorks is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to lead our presales process, turning customer requirements into Beacon solutions. You will own technical discovery, design architectures, and enable fast design-wins, collaborating with Business Development Directors and distribution partners.

The role resides in Eden Prairie, MN, with travel to customer sites and events. Starting salary information indicates $100,000+ plus commissions, with comprehensive benefits and an on-site work

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.

Mansioni

• Lead technical discovery to understand application requirements (processing, memory, I/O, power, thermal, certification).
• Translate customer requirements into Beacon solutions (SOMs, carrier boards, or full designs).
• Develop solution architectures, block diagrams, and proposals.
• Provide BOM-level and scheduling inputs to quotes to protect margin.
• Plan and drive customer evaluations and POC builds to design-win.
• Support design-in with system-level schematic reviews and BSP bring-up guidance.
• Travel up to 30% to customer sites and events.
