Job summary

RTXs Software Security Sensors and Effectors (S3E) Department seeks a Senior Software Security Engineer for onsite work in Tucson, AZ. You will design and implement real-time missile software using C/C++, and work with embedded OSes in a DoD context to meet system requirements.

The role requires a STEM degree, 5+ years of software experience, and U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a STEM field is required.
• 5+ years of relevant software experience.
• Experience with C/C++ programming.
• Experience with embedded processors and OSes (VxWorks/Embedded Linux).
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement real-time missile software.
• Develop software using C/C++ on multiple computing platforms.
• Collaborate with Systems Security Engineering to define and implement requirements.
• Interface with customers to review design and support verification of system maturity.
