Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Software Security Engineer to join the S3E department. You will contribute to real-time missile software security, design, develop, test and review secure software components.

The role calls for C/C++ expertise, embedded OS experience, and the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance. Onsite work with DoD programs offers challenging projects and opportunities to impact national security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years of software experience.
• Experience with C / C++.
• Experience with Xilinx UltaScale+ MPSoC, Versal, or similar Embedded Processors.
• Experience with embedded OS like VxWorks, Embedded Linux, or similar.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Interim Secret U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Understand real-time software design and performance implications of System Security implementations.
• Involve with application and embedded software design, development, integration, and testing of real-time missile software.
• Apply System Security principles to the design and implementation of Missile software applications.
• Develop software applications using C and C++ on various computing platforms.
• Collaborate with Systems Security Engineering to define and implement requirements.
• Work in a common development environment to support program delivery of capabilities.
• Interface with customer community to review technical design and verify system maturity.
