Job summary

RTX is hiring a Senior Software Security Engineer for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. You will develop real-time missile software in C/C++ and integrate security-focused features across embedded platforms. A DoD clearance and U.S.

citizenship are required, with the ability to obtain interim clearance before starting. The role involves collaboration with Systems Security Engineering, working in a shared development environment, and interfacing with customers to review designs and verify system

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics with 5+ years of software experience.
• Experience with C / C++.
• Experience with Xilinx MPSoC, Versal or similar Embedded Processors.
• Experience with embedded OS like VxWorks or Embedded Linux.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time missile software using C and C++ on various computing platforms.
• Analyze and implement real-time security concepts in software.
• Collaborate with Systems Security Engineering to define and implement requirements.
• Review design and support verification of system maturity with customers.
• Interface with customer community to review technical design.
