Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Northridge, CA, seeks a Senior Staff Embedded Software IPT Lead to guide multiple software teams across development activities for a secured missile weapon system.

The role requires on-site work in Northridge with active DoD Secret clearance eligibility and SAP access, leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with customers. Strong leadership and program management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in STEM with 14+ years of embedded software experience, or Master/PhD with related years.
• Experience leading an Integrated Product Team of 20+ individuals.
• Experience with CAM & EVMS duties and responsibilities.
• Experience in software or algorithm development, integration, and test.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S Government Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams supporting OFP Software, DevOps, Software Architecture and Requirements.
• Manage the Software Development Lifecycle to deliver production-ready software.
• Serve as CAM to develop and execute budgets and schedules with EVMS and EACs.
