Job summary

Blue Origin is building reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems. This role focuses on developing flight software and tools for New Glenn avionics and ground systems, ensuring safety-critical real-time performance from requirements through testing.

You will contribute to the software that enables human spaceflight and work within a capable team emphasizing safety, collaboration, and inclusion, with relocation assistance where applicable.

Qualifications

• A BS degree in CS, EE, AE or related field.
• 8+ years of software development in C, C++ and Python.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded software, kernel development, BSPs or other systems software components.
• Solid understanding of operating systems and network protocols.
• Experience with real-time systems and hardware/FPGA interfacing.

Responsibilities

• Develop flight software and tools for spaceflight systems.
• Work on vehicle avionics and ground systems, handling requirements, design, implementation, integration and testing.
