Job summary

Blue Origin in Colorado is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer III to contribute to the New Glenn Avionics software stack. You will develop flight software and tooling for spaceflight systems, focusing on safety-critical real-time embedded development across avionics and ground segments.

You will collaborate with a world-class team to define requirements, design, implement, integrate and test software components and tools critical to mission success.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or related subject area.
• 5+ years of experience writing software in C, C++, and Python.
• 2+ years of experience in embedded software, kernel development, BSPs or other systems software components.
• Solid understanding of operating systems and network protocols fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Develop flight software and tools for various spaceflight systems.
• Share in the team\'s impact on safety-critical real-time embedded software development.
• Work on vehicle avionics and ground systems and be responsible for requirements, design, implementation, integration and testing of software components and tools.
