Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer III to join the New Glenn Avionics team. You will develop flight software and tools for critical spaceflight systems, supporting both vehicle avionics and ground systems, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

The role requires strong C/C++ and Python skills, 2+ years in embedded software, and a solid OS/network fundamentals background. Relocation assistance is available for approved sites.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or related subject area.
• 5+ years of experience writing software in C, C++, and Python.
• 2+ years of experience in embedded software, kernel development, BSPs or other systems software components.
• Solid understanding of operating systems and network protocols fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Develop flight software and tools for spaceflight systems.
• Work on vehicle avionics and ground systems.
• Handle requirements, design, implementation, integration and testing of software components.
• Collaborate in a safety-critical software development environment.
