Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking engineers to develop flight software and tools for New Glenn avionics and ground systems. You will work on safety-critical real-time embedded software and collaborate across requirements, design, implementation, integration and testing of software components to enable reliable spaceflight missions.

The role requires a B.S. in a related field and 2+ years of C/C++/Python experience, with familiarity in embedded systems and RTOS. Relocation assistance may be offered.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience writing software in C, C++, and Python.
• Solid understanding of embedded software, kernel development, BSPs or other systems software components.

Responsibilities

• Develop flight software and tools for various spaceflight systems.
• Contribute to safety-critical real-time embedded software development.
• Design, implement, integrate and test software components and tools for vehicle avionics and ground systems.
