Job summary

Blue Origin in the Greater Seattle area is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Developer for the In-Space Systems team. You will design and implement multi-threaded embedded software in C/C++ to run on Linux/RTOS/Bare-metal platforms, working on Satellite RF transceivers, antennas, and ground gateways.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to CI/CD, testing, and documentation, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, CS, EE, or related field.
• 3+ years of embedded software development in C/C++ on Linux/RTOS/Bare-metal.
• Strong C++ OO design and debugging with hardware tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop multi-threaded embedded software for satellite systems.
• Integrate software with hardware on multi-core SoCs and transceivers.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to CI/CD and testing.
• Produce technical documentation and participate in design reviews.
