Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle, WA is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer III to join the New Glenn Avionics Software organization. You will develop safety-critical flight software and tools for spaceflight systems, contributing to requirements, design, implementation, integration and testing across avionics and ground systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in C/C++/Python, embedded software, and a solid OS/network fundamentals background, with a passion for spaceflight and quality engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in C, C++, Python.
• 2+ years in embedded software / kernel / BSPs.
• Solid understanding of OS and network protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop flight software and tools for spaceflight systems.
• Handle requirements, design, implementation, integration and testing.
• Work on avionics and ground systems for New Glenn mission.
• Collaborate across a safety-critical, real-time embedded software team.
