Job summary

L3Harris Integrated Mission Systems is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to translate requirements into working and maintainable solutions for our C5 and Cyber Solution Centers. The selected candidate will apply technical proficiency across various stages of our SDLC and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks.

Essential functions include supporting and guiding the engineering team, solving complex issues, and developing software for embedded real time operating systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field; preferably with DoD‑related exposure.
• 6+ years of experience developing applications on simulated and target hardware.
• Experience with RTOS such as Green Hills Integrity or VxWorks; strong C/C++ skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expert guidance in embedded software development for the team.
• Investigate root causes and implement solutions, individually or with a multi-discipline team.
• Develop software for embedded real time operating systems and evaluate interfaces.
