Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks a Software Engineer. Responsibilities include translating requirements into working, maintainable solutions for our embedded software at the C5 and Cyber Solution Centers. You will apply across the SDLC, gathering requirements and prioritizing tasks on a Scrum team.

You will work with C/C++ and Python in embedded RTOS environments, interfacing hardware and software, and contributing to testing and documentation. A DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 4 years of related experience; or Graduate Degree with 2+ years; or 8+ years without a degree.
• 3+ years of experience developing apps on simulated and target hardware.
• Experience with RTOS such as Green Hills Integrity or VxWorks.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into working, maintainable embedded software.
• Work on a Scrum team, prioritize and scope tasks with stakeholders.
• Develop and evaluate hardware/software interfaces and performance needs.
• Support all phases of the software development life cycle.
• Create software test plans, procedures, and technical docs.
• Utilize modeling tools to establish operating data and tests.
