Job summary
L3Harris Technologies Camden Campus seeks an experienced embedded Software Engineer to guide the next generation of mission‑critical national security systems. The candidate will lead software design, development, and reviews across cross‑functional teams including Electrical and Systems Engineering, ensuring robust architecture and on‑time delivery.
Required is a strong background in low‑level embedded software, drivers, bootloaders, and real‑time systems, with DoD secret clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software, Computer, or Electrical Engineering with 12+ years of related experience; Master’s degree preferred with 10+ years; in lieu of a degree, 16 years experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead software design and development processes from requirements to implementation.
- Drive development best practices and perform code and design reviews.
- Coordinate with Electrical and Systems Engineering managers to optimize product development.
- Establish development processes and standards to boost productivity.
- Mentor and guide team members on career growth and opportunities.
