Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr Embedded Software Engineer in Auburn Hills, MI to design, develop, and integrate embedded software for military combat vehicle systems. You will work on secure software with DevSecOps practices, UML/SysML models, and system integration throughout the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of embedded software experience, strong C/C++, Linux, RTOS, and model-based design skills, and can obtain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field.
• 15+ years embedded software engineering and systems integration experience.
• Experience with Embedded C/C++, Linux, and RTOS.
• Model-Based Software Development using UML and SysML.
• Proficiency with Confluence, Cameo Systems Modeler, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with software lifecycle processes and systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain embedded software for military vehicle systems.
• Develop secure vehicle software and cybersecurity solutions using Agile, prototyping, and DevSecOps.
• Create and manage software requirements, specifications, and model artifacts using UML/SysML.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and analysis to evaluate performance and compliance.
• Support lifecycle activities including verification, validation, configuration management, and integration.
• Utilize tools such as Git, Jira, Confluence, Kubernetes, CANoe, MATLAB, and Simulink.
• Develop and integrate software drivers, kernels, containers, and VM environments.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions.
• Support testing activities including SIL, HIL, and prototype development.
• Analyze test data, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
