Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is hiring an Embedded Linux / RTOS Software Engineer in Sterling Heights, MI. You will support software loading, verification, and integration for vehicle electronic systems and ground combat environments.

The role emphasizes C/C++ embedded software, VxWorks and Linux/RTOS integration, Yocto and Buildroot system images, and Linux kernel/device driver development within a SDLC framework. Onsite work is required.

Qualifications

BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
5-7 years of embedded software engineering experience.
Experience with full SDLC from requirements to deployment.
Experience troubleshooting low-level software issues and hardware/software problems.
Strong knowledge of real-time programming and multi-process systems.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and test a new software development environment for docs, source code, tests and artifacts.
Develop embedded software docs and code across vehicle domains (board support, displays, power, diagnostics).
Perform software requirements analysis and create technical documentation.
Develop software designs using approved tools and standards.
Implement software designs into code and ensure adherence to procedures.
Develop test procedures and perform unit and functional testing of software.
