Wabtec seeks a seasoned embedded software engineer for the LOCOTROL program. You will design, develop, integrate, test, demonstrate, and maintain embedded software for freight locomotive control, working across RTOS and bare-metal environments.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsabilidades

Develop and maintain embedded software components and systems.
Provide technical mentoring to junior engineers.
Design, implement, and test software for embedded systems from requirements to deployment.
Program in C and C++ for applications and interfaces.
Maintain and enhance software in existing products and systems.
Collaborate with business units to meet product specs.
Coordinate with other engineering teams for interfaces and functionality.
Participate in design and code reviews and drive performance improvements.
Interact with customers/partners in technical discussions during development and deployment.
Develop documentation covering software design, requirements, and architecture.
