Wabtec in the United States is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to join the LOCOTROL SW Team. You will design, develop, integrate and test embedded software for LOCOTROL Remote Control Locomotive, Tower Control and Distributed Power products using C and C++ across RTOS and bare metal targets.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 15+ years in embedded software, with strong multi-threading, data structures and experience with

Formación

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
15+ years embedded software development in RTOS and bare metal.
C/C++ with multi-threaded programming experience.
Strong software design and architectural understanding.
Experience with TCP/IP, CAN, RS232/RS422, and other protocols.
Willing to travel up to 10%.

Responsabilidades

Design, develop, integrate, test, demonstrate and maintain embedded software.
Develop for LOCOTROL Remote Control Locomotive, Tower Control and Distributed Power.
Work with RTOS and bare metal environments in various platforms.
Mentor junior engineers and participate in design/code reviews.
Engage with customers/partners during development and deployment.
