The role emphasizes production-quality C/C++ software, iterative development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams across embedded software, validation, and systems engineering. Responsibilities include gathering user needs, ensuring design consistency, and addressing risks across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience with configuration management tools such as Git.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, Lauterbach, and Rust.
• Experience working with open-source libraries.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze user and client needs to define software requirements for components and subsystems used across multiple products.
• Promote design consistency across products by contributing to product and software architecture discussions.
• Identify common issues, risks, and considerations throughout the development life cycle.
• Develop production-quality C/C++ software, including design, documentation, coding, quality assurance, and validation.
• Conduct walkthroughs and monitors the effectiveness and quality of development activities.
